Zero expectations going into this season, just hoping they show flashes of potential— maybe stealing some wins from much better teams, evidence of solid coaching, team cohesion, individual standouts. I’m not sure I’ve ever been a fan of a team that has so consciously committed to a rebuild like this, so this is new territory.
as a NW guy (Oregon raised and educated, lived in the Sound for some years, now retired to Boise) I hope Seattle and Portland get 1 and 2 in the next drafts, if it takes losing now to do so … I have no use for Conn/Houston and hope they finish 3rd or worse in the sweepstakes, Dallas and Chi-town too … at the top end, I do root for the Fever and Liberty as well, and have other fav players scattered around the league, so lots to track this season, it should be interesting
At least we should definitely be able to win tomorrow's preseason exhibition game against the Portland Fire. And we need to see a lot more of the rookies and other youngsters. I wouldn't mind seeing Taina Mair starting at PG and Grace VanSlooten starting at PF but just getting equal time with Mackenzie Holmes. Of course, I'd like to see Dominique Malonga start at Center and Flau'jae Johnson start at SG. It would be really cool if they would let Rennia Davis start at the SF. Then we could really see if she should make the roster of 12 active players or even the D-squad of 2.
Tanking for JuJu. LET’S GO!!! 💚💛😜
like losing might turn out to be WINNING !!

Thanks for the rankings, and your thoughts about it, looks pretty accurate at the outset, should be fun watching it play out this season.
