The Storm are hard to watch when they turn the ball over like that. Probably the worst game of Flau’jae’s young career with 7 TOs. And Jade simply HAS to do better - she’s young but she’s not a rookie anymore. Up to me I’d start Zia and use the remainder of the season to find out if she has a future on this team.
Terrible passing causing way too many turnovers killed our chances in this game. It ruined T's great game and Dom's excellent game, too. And Ezi had a very good game in her first game back from her broken nose. Flaujae had a very disappointing game which usually happens when she tries too hard.
Yes, I think you’re on to something with that “tries too hard” comment. And she probably was trying too hard in part due to playing 20 miles from her home town.
I agree. She really wanted to impress the hometown folks which made her tense up even moreso when shots weren't dropping and things weren't going her way.
