We need her back on the Storm.

Free agency should be wild.

Optics are something….and on the Storm Insta, to me, it looks like we’re on the Dom/Jordy & FAs Ezi/Gabby train…. Which raises the question…there’s 4 players to protect, who’s the 5th? 🧐

They don't have to protect Nneka, but I think they would still have to protect Skylar if they intend to bring her back. If they do, I would think the 5 would be Skylar, Dom, Jordan, Gabby, and Ezi. If they don't have to or choose not to protect Skylar, I would lean towards them protecting Brittney Sykes. Other options would be Katie Lou Samuelson or Erica Wheeler.

It'll be really interesting to see what type of teams that Toronto Tempo and Portland Fire can put together.

Yeah, I’m really excited to see how this all shapes up. With new coaches, we might pursue completely different vets…

Thanks for giving us that interview with Nneka on Good Morning America. I don't understand why they don't have to protect Nneka. I am hoping to see her back with Skylar, Gabby, Dom, Jordan, and Ezi at least. I'd love to see Erica (EDub) and Katie Lou and Brittney Sykes, too, but I know we're losing some players.

We don't know the terms of the new CBA in regards to the core designation and how it applies to the expansion draft. Previously, any UFA you wanted to protect would have to be cored, so players like Nneka that can't be cored also make no sense to protect.
