Storm Chasers w/ Jeff Brown's avatar

Just a courtesy heads up, I have a really important meeting tomorrow in the early afternoon that I need to make sure I'm well-rested and prepared for. Because of that, I can't stay up until 2:30 or 3:30 AM writing my Part 2 like I normally would. Part 2 will still be completed, but it'll be delayed until later on Thursday, instead of being released at 6:00 AM like normal. Thank you for understanding.

That was a rough game but I think it could've gone the other way if the Storm got abother lucky break or two. But I will believe the moon landing was faked before I believe Phoenix committed only three shooting fouls the entire game.

Just a massive statement game from Fam. The W is officially on notice: The Storm with Malonga and Fam are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

It *looked* like the Mercury were disrespecting Fam for a lot of the game; talking smack after an early miss, not even pretending to close out on jumpers, it seemed like Alyssa was giving her the rookie treatment. But Awa did not backdown.

She put on an absolute show on offense, scored in most every way other than 3s, good passing, made big defensive plays, even while pulling one of the tougher defensive assignments in the league.

Separate, hilarious stat regarding free throws. The Storm are 22/30 combined the last 3 games, 37/49 over the last 4. They went 32/34 alone in the win over the Mystics!

Definitely a disappointing loss against the only team in the Western Conference with a worse record than us. Until now at least. I really thought this game would be a win for us. Awa Fam was definitely our star in this game. I'm so happy that she started. T played well, too, but those 2 were our only players in double figures and that fact alone makes it very unlikely that your team will win the game. Flaújae had some good plays as did Jordan and Mack. I would have liked to see more from Jade including just more P.T. Surprisingly Stef kind of disappeared in this game.
