The Seattle Storm (4-15) finally got over the hump as they snapped their 11-game losing streak with an impressive 99-88 victory over the New York Liberty. And while the Liberty were without stars Breanna Stewart and Satou Sabally in this game, they still had plenty of talent on the court, including former MVP Jonquel Jones and multiple-time All-Star Sabrina Ionescu. Seattle outplayed and outhustled New York through the 40-minute contest to secure their victory in June. If you missed it, Danny wrote the game recap, which you can read at the link below.

For Part 2, I wrote about the similarities of having twin towers in New York with Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones compared to Seattle with Dominique Malonga and Awa Fam. I also discussed load management and how that may affect the WNBA more often as the league expands to 50 games. I had to give Marina Mabrey some love after her historic performance for Toronto against the LA Sparks. And I finished by talking about Seattle’s improvement and their will to win. I’ve also included the post-game audio interviews for both the Seattle Storm and the New York Liberty.
